Upon arrival in the Norwegian capital, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the city’s beauty. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the quaint streets of the city center, admire the stunning design of the Royal Palace, and delve into the rich history of the Nordic seafarers at the Viking Ship Museum. Don’t forget to treat your taste buds to some of Norway’s delectable cuisine, such as the classic fish soup or succulent salmon.

On day 2, your train journey starts as you take a ride to Hallingdal. Once you arrive, you’ll have the chance to experience one of Norway’s favorite pastimes, cross-country skiing. For those seeking a bit more excitement, try your hand at sledding down a 1.5 km long run with specially designed bobsleds.

On day 3 of your adventure, you’ll travel to the charming town of Geilo. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to go on a husky sledding tour, with a delicious Norwegian snack break in between. For those who prefer some hiking, you can opt for a guided snowshoeing tour to the snowy hills above the village and soak in the stunning beauty of the Norwegian winter countryside.

You’ll continue your journey to Finse, the highest railway station on the line and a place on the northern edge of the Hardangervidda plateau, reminiscent of Antarctica. In Finse, you’ll have the chance to try your hand at ski sailing, surrounded by the beautiful snowy landscape
In the case that ski sailing is not possible due to early winter conditions or strong winds, we will arrange an equally thrilling alternative activity for you to enjoy.

After breakfast, hop on the In Flam, you’ll embark on a Winter Fjordsafari, where you’ll get to witness the stunning beauty of the UNESCO-listed Aurlandsfjord and half of Nærøyfjorden from the comfort of an open RIB boat. Along the way, you’ll marvel at charming villages and frozen waterfalls.
In the evening, a knowledgeable local guide will take you on a leisurely walk through Flam, sharing its rich history and culture with you. The tour will end with a warm drink in hand, gathered around a cozy bonfire, making for the perfect end to a magical day.

You’ll travel to the town of Voss, where you’ll have the opportunity to go on a beginner backcountry ski tour and experience the traditional Norwegian way of navigating through the winter landscape. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-timer, this tour is the perfect way to explore the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains and experience the thrill of backcountry skiing.

On the final full day of your adventure, you’ll arrive in the charming city of Bergen. At its renowned fish market, you’ll set off on a sustainable cruise of the Osterfjord, sailing through the breathtaking Mostraumen straits and taking in the stunning views of waterfalls and wildlife, including eagles and the possibility of seeing seals. As you venture further into the steep fjord landscape, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of Norway’s fjords, creating an unforgettable experience.

Yes, we welcome solo travelers on our adventure holidays. However, please be aware that there is a surcharge for single use of a room. If you are a solo traveler and are interested in one of our holidays, we recommend that you contact us to discuss any potential surcharges.
Yes, we provide all the necessary equipment for the activities included in our adventure holidays. This includes items such as skis, helmets, and other equipment, as well as any specialized gear required for a particular activity. To ensure proper fit and safety, we will need to obtain your measurements prior to your arrival. Don’t worry, this is only for your safety and comfort!
There is no guide following you on the whole holiday, except for the activities where they are needed. We book the accommodations and activities and provide a detailed itinerary booklet, but getting from place to place is on you.
The only exception is the transfers specified in the itineraries, like a cruise or a short transfer from your accommodation to the kayaking spot. That can be done with a rented car (we can recommend some agencies) or with a train (in the case of our winter train holiday).
To make all this as easy as possible, we’ll supply you with lots of helpful info in our booklet.
