Adventure Holidays Norway is your one-stop destination for the ultimate adventure in Norway. With our mission to provide unique and unforgettable adventures, you can expect a holiday that goes beyond a regular vacation to Norway.
Our adventure holidays cover a range of regions in Norway, from the fjords and fjells to the Arctic landscapes, and are designed to cater to different seasons so everyone can find something they’re interested in.
Whether you’re looking for a winter train adventure through the mountains, a fjord adventure, a chance to witness the Northern Lights, or a rugged Arctic experience, we have something for everyone.
We believe an adventure holiday should be more than just a break from everyday life — it should be an experience you’ll never forget. That’s why we offer unique and exciting activities, from ski-touring and snowmobiling to kayaking and fjord cruises.
Whatever you choose, you can expect the ultimate adventure in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
A land of breathtaking natural beauty, where the fjords sing their song and the mountains reach for the sky. A place where the Arctic snow shines like diamonds under the Northern Lights, and the waters of the fjords reflect the majesty of the land.
Here, adventure awaits at every turn — from the peaceful calm of a kayak gliding through the fjords to the thrill of skiing down a mountain. Take a journey on a winter train, where the mountains and fjords dance in the snow. Or, explore the rugged beauty of the Arctic, where ice caves and glaciers tell the story of a land that refuses to be tamed.
Whether seeking a winter wonderland or a summer escape, Norway has something for everyone. So, come, fall in love with Norway and experience the adventure of a lifetime.
At Adventure Holidays Norway, we believe in providing a flexible and personalized experience for our guests. To accomplish this, we collaborate with a range of top-quality accommodations that can be adjusted to fit your specific preferences, budget, and availability. Rest assured that the accommodation you will be staying at will be confirmed before the tour and communicated to you beforehand.
Because adventure activities happen outdoors, they are sometimes subject to weather conditions. If some activity cannot be carried out because of bad weather (strong winds, heavy rain, storms, etc.), they may be canceled and replaced, depending on the activity provider on the ground. If in some cases there is no other activity possible at that time, you’ll get a full refund for the activities canceled.
Our adventure holidays are meant to be both fun and exciting, but they do require a certain degree of physical fitness. It is recommended that all participants have a moderate level of fitness to fully participate in the activities and avoid any potential injuries. If you have any concerns about your fitness level, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to discuss your options and assist you in choosing the right holiday for you.
Yes, we welcome solo travelers on our adventure holidays. However, please be aware that there is a surcharge for single use of a room. If you are a solo traveler and are interested in one of our holidays, we recommend that you contact us to discuss any potential surcharges.
Yes, we provide all the necessary equipment for the activities included in our adventure holidays. This includes items such as skis, helmets, and other equipment, as well as any specialized gear required for a particular activity. To ensure proper fit and safety, we will need to obtain your measurements prior to your arrival. Don’t worry, this is only for your safety and comfort!
The best time to travel to Norway for an adventure holiday depends on your personal preferences and the type of activities you are interested in. Here are a few general guidelines:
It’s worth noting that the seasons in Norway can vary greatly depending on the location. For example, the Arctic Circle experiences much more extreme weather conditions than the city of Oslo, which is located further south. When planning your adventure holiday in Norway, it’s essential to consider the time of year and the specific location you’ll be visiting to ensure that you have the best possible experience.
There is no guide following you on the whole holiday, except for the activities where they are needed. We book the accommodations and activities and provide a detailed itinerary booklet, but getting from place to place is on you.
The only exception is the transfers specified in the itineraries, like a cruise or a short transfer from your accommodation to the kayaking spot. That can be done with a rented car (we can recommend some agencies) or with a train (in the case of our winter train holiday).
To make all this as easy as possible, we’ll supply you with lots of helpful info in our booklet.
