After arriving in the Norwegian capital, you’ll have some time to explore this wonderful city. Take a stroll through the charming streets of the center, marvel at the impressive architecture of the Royal Palace, or discover the Viking Ship Museum and learn about the fascinating history of the Nordic seafarers. You can also indulge in some delicious Norwegian cuisine, such as the traditional fish soup or mouth-watering salmon.

As you leave Oslo behind and journey northward, you’ll discover the stunning valley of Hallingdal. One of the stops on your way is the Bear park where you’ll have the chance to see some of Norway’s most amazing predators and other wild animals. Then, you’ll head to your accommodation where you’ll get ready for a paddling adventure on the Strandafjorden. The fjord’s water temperature makes it an ideal spot for swimming and other water activities, and you can choose between a canoe or kayak to explore the breathtaking scenery.

You’ll leave your previous accommodation and drive to the charming town of Geilo, looking forward to your next adventure. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to experience mountain horseback riding, surrounded by the stunning natural landscapes of the Norwegian wilderness. Whether you’re an experienced rider or a beginner, your guides will show you the ropes and make sure you feel comfortable before embarking on your 1-hour or 3-hour adventure.
Optionally, you can also choose to instead go Husky sledding. Yes, you can do it even in summer, with specially designed carriages.

As you continue your Norway Fjord Adventure Holiday, you’ll journey to the picturesque village of Flam. Join us on an active adventure from the fjord to the mountain, starting with a 1.5-hour Fjord cruise on the UNESCO-listed Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, where you’ll be mesmerized by the stunning Sagfossen waterfall.
After the boat ride, we’ll disembark at Skjerdal pier and hike towards the Leim mountain goat farm. During the hike, you’ll ascend the valley and reach up to 400 meters in altitude before arriving at the farm for a tour and a goat cheese tasting. Relax on the farmhouse terrace and indulge in a delicious lunch made with local produce before hiking down to Skjerdal and returning to Flam by minibus.

Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled day as you make your way to Voss — the adventure capital of Norway! Here, you’ll experience the thrill of a rafting adventure down the gentle rapids and whirlpools of the Vosso River, culminating in a refreshing swim in Evanger lake. If you’re up for even more excitement, you can also extend your adventure by trying canyoning or riverboarding.

As your adventure slowly draws to a close, you’ll arrive in the picturesque city of Bergen. At its famous fish market, you’ll embark on a sustainable fjord cruise on Osterfjord, sailing through the breathtaking Mostraumen straits and taking in the stunning views of waterfalls and wildlife, including eagles and possibly even seals. As you sail deeper into the steep landscape, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of Norway’s fjords, making for an unforgettable experience, before returning back to the city.

On the final day of your Norway Fjord Adventure Holiday, you’ll have some time to explore the charming city of Bergen before your departure. Stroll through the colorful wooden houses of Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or take a funicular ride to the top of Mount Fløyen for breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscapes. You can also visit the historic Fish Market, taste some of Norway’s famous seafood, or check out the impressive works of art at the KODE Art Museums.

Rest assured that the accommodation you will be staying at will be confirmed before the tour and communicated to you beforehand.
Yes, we welcome solo travelers on our adventure holidays. However, please be aware that there is a surcharge for single use of a room. If you are a solo traveler and are interested in one of our holidays, we recommend that you contact us to discuss any potential surcharges.
Yes, we provide all the necessary equipment for the activities included in our adventure holidays. This includes items such as skis, helmets, and other equipment, as well as any specialized gear required for a particular activity. To ensure proper fit and safety, we will need to obtain your measurements prior to your arrival. Don’t worry, this is only for your safety and comfort!
There is no guide following you on the whole holiday, except for the activities where they are needed. We book the accommodations and activities and provide a detailed itinerary booklet, but getting from place to place is on you.
The only exception is the transfers specified in the itineraries, like a cruise or a short transfer from your accommodation to the kayaking spot. That can be done with a rented car (we can recommend some agencies) or with a train (in the case of our winter train holiday).
To make all this as easy as possible, we’ll supply you with lots of helpful info in our booklet.
